Welcome to Comfort Keepers®
Quality Home Care for Independence and Peace of Mind
How can home care benefit a senior?
A Comfort Keeper provides a special kind of home care. Our home care aides are highly sought after - we only hire about 5% of those who contact us for employment. Our home care aides are asked to pass a background check with flying colors as well as have plenty of experience prior to working with us so that we know we are providing our senior clients with the best care possible.
Know that our Comfort Keepers are there to provide many different types of care, each relevant to a different situation. One of the most important aspects of our care is to provide loving companionship to our senior care charges. This companionship comes with a customized care plan designed around your unique challenges and goals. When a home care consultant first visits your home, they will discuss the many different options available to you so that you can select which activities or care services are most important and will be prioritized by your Comfort Keeper home care aide on a daily basis.
Aside from companionship, your customized care plan can also include activities to encourage you to remain social or possibly pursue an active lifestyle in accordance with your doctors' recommendations. Our home care aides will make sure that you take your daily medications as well as engage in light stretching, or possibly even light yoga to stay active and healthy. Helping with meal preparation and grocery shopping is also a large part of ensuring that a senior stays in good health and doesn't ingest too much sugar or sodium.
For seniors who may be stuck at home due to an inability to drive, a home care aide can gladly provide transportation to local destinations such as doctors appointments or the grocery store. For seniors who may not be able to leave the house, home care can also consist of errand running services that allow you to stay safe at home while a Comfort keeper picks up the groceries or medications from the store.
